How ironic that during the last week of March we were basking in temperatures higher than most of Europe and now we are expecting snow! After forecasters claiming March was one of the hottest on record we all started looking forward to the long Easter Weekend and planning outdoor activities. Our Web site advertised a product to clean your Barbie or outdoor grill and I washed my winter coat ready to be put away – 1 hot week does not a summer make!

It’s well known that the English weather is a very popular topic of conversation yet it’s something we can’t change so why worry about it. Half of the country would have us doing a rain dance or summer vegetables are going to be more expensive, and the other half can’t quite grasp water shortages and hosepipe bans.
