Description

The BSI Medium Eclipse 1-20 Person Catering First Aid Kits have been designed to meet the relevant regulations as set by the Health and Safety Commission. These regulations state:

Regulation 3 (1) - An employer shall provide, or ensure that there are provided, such equipment and facilities as are adequate and appropriate in the circumstances enabling first aid to be rendered to his employers if they are injured or become ill at work.

ACOP 3 (4) - An employer should make an assessment of first aid needs appropriate to the circumstances of each workplace.

ACOP 3 (20) - Employers are responsible for meeting the first aid needs of those employees working away from the site, for example those who travel regularly or those who work elsewhere.

ACOP 3 (32) - The contents of first aid containers should be examined frequently and should be restocked as soon as possible after use. Sufficient supplies should be held in a back up stock on site. Care should be taken to discard items after the expiry date has passed.

These kits are suitable for use in all small food preparation and catering areas, cafes, kitchens and at home, the design of the kits protects the contents from any dust and water penetration.
