Sweet Cheeks Sugarcane Toilet Tissue is made from the left over plant after sugar has been extracted for use within the food industry. As the sugarcane pulp is a by-product it is even more of a sustainable source than that of bamboo, and has been found to be much softer than bamboo due to its short and delicate fibres. Furthermore the sugarcane toilet rolls will totally breakdown in four seconds when flushed, helping prevent any blockages from occuring, making the rolls ideal for use in schools or colleges where blockages can occur due to previous toilet roll misuse or the sites operating older drainage systems that have historically had drainage issues. The manufacturers have also helped further reduce the carbon footprint of the product by cramming more paper into smaller cartons. Sugarcane has a 64% lower carbon footprint than that of recycled paper.
